JEE Main 2027 registration: NTA guidelines on fresh application forms

Candidates who made errors while filling out the JEE Main 2027 Session 1 application form can now submit a fresh one, even if they have already received an application number or paid the examination fee.

They have to enter all the required details again and upload their photograph, signature and other applicable documents afresh. However, only the latest application form for which the examination fee has been paid and a confirmation page generated will be considered valid.

The fee paid against an earlier application will neither be refunded nor adjusted against the fresh submission.

Multiple application numbers may lead to disqualification

Candidates who have made minor errors in their existing application need not submit a fresh form for every correction. They can use the JEE Main 2027 correction window available from November 27 to 29, 2026.

The NTA has also warned candidates against appearing for the examination using more than one application number. Such cases will be treated as unfair means (UFM), and action may be taken for those candidates.
