NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) which is set to hold the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 session 1 exam from January 24 to February 1 has made the JEE Main city allotment link active. The JEE Main 2023 exam city intimation slip is available at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE 2023 admit card will be made available for download on the JEE Main official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in soon.

The JEE Main 2023 exam pattern will include BTech, BArch and BPlanning papers. The exam will be held for multiple choice questions (MCQs) and numerical questions. The BE, BTech paper of JEE Mains 2023 will have three sections -- Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and will comprise of 90 questions. The BArch paper, or Paper 2A, of JEE Main exam will have three sections -- Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing and will have 82 questions. The BPlanning paper, or Paper 2B will comprise of Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Planning-based questions and will have 105 questions.
Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the JEE Main session 1 admit card:

2. Go to the designated JEE Main 2023 session 1 admit card link.
3. Insert credentials including JEE Mains application numbers and dates of birth.

The state code of eligibility means the code of the state from where the candidate has passed the Class 12 or equivalent exam by virtue of which the candidate becomes eligible to appear in JEE Main 2023. It is important to note that the state code of eligibility does not depend upon the native place or the place of residence of the candidate.
Only those candidates who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or those who are appearing in Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2023, are eligible to appear in JEE Main 2023. Candidates who passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2020 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2024 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE Main 2023.

The NTA will conduct the JEE Main session 1 exam in two shifts. The first shift for Paper 1 (BE, BTech) will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. Candidates appearing in the JEE Main 2023 will have to report at the examination centre 2 hours before the commencement of the examination to have a hassle-free entry process.
NTA has formed created a network of Test Practice Centres for candidates, especially in remote and rural areas to enable students to practice and be comfortable with the Computer Based Test (CBT). This facility is completely free of cost.
JEE Main 2023 mock test is available on the mobile app National Test Abhyas.

The JEE Main intimation slip 2023 is yet to be released by the National Testing Agency. The city intimation slip includes the name of the city where candidates have to reach to appear for JEE Main.

JEE Main January Session- January 24 to January 31
JEE Main April Session- April 6 to April 12
The JEE Main official website is jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Once released, the JEE Mains hall ticket 2023 download link will be available on the official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in.
To download the JEE Main admit card visit the official website. Then go to the designated JEE Main 2023 session 1 admit card link. After that, insert the JEE Main application number, date of birth and submit. At last download NTA JEE Main 2023 admit card.
The NTA will conduct the JEE Main session 1 exam in two shifts. The first shift for Paper 1 (BE, BTech) will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. The first shift for Paper 2 for BArch and BPlanning will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.
The merit list, scores, result of JEE Main 2023 will be utilized by other entities of central or state governments with their eligibility criteria, norms, applicable regulations, guidelines or rules. For the academic year 2023-24, admissions under MEA (Welfare) quota seats will be based on the JEE Main.
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main comprises two papers. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes (BE/BTech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and institutions/universities funded/recognized by participating state governments. JEE Main is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced, which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to BArch and BPlanning courses in the country.

NTA has closed the JEE Main 2023 registration process. The application form for JEE Main 2023 was available online on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to register for JEE Main 2023 was January 12.
To access the JEE Main admit card 2023, candidates will need their application number, dates of birth and password.
