Engineering aspirants are allowed to carry the following items with them inside the examination hall: 

• JEE Main admit card
• Self-declaration (undertaking) duly filled in
• A simple transparent Ball Point Pen
• Additional photograph, to be pasted on the attendance sheet
• Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml), if required
• Personal transparent water bottle
• Sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) in case the candidate is diabetic.

The JEE Main 2023 exam pattern will include BTech, BArch and BPlanning papers. The exam will be held for multiple choice questions (MCQs) and numerical questions. The BE, BTech paper of JEE Mains 2023 will have three sections -- Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and will comprise of 90 questions. The BArch paper, or Paper 2A, of JEE Main exam will have three sections -- Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing and will have 82 questions. The BPlanning paper, or Paper 2B will comprise of Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Planning-based questions and will have 105 questions.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the JEE Main session 1 admit card:

1. Visit the jeemain.nta.nic.in 2023 website.

2. Go to the designated JEE Main 2023 session 1 admit card link.

3. Insert credentials including JEE Mains application numbers and dates of birth.

4. Submit and download NTA JEE Main 2023 admit card.

The JEE Main 2023 session 1 admit card link will be made active at the JEE Main official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The JEE Main 2023 session 1 exam will begin on January 24, 2023.

There shall be no re-evaluation or re-checking of the JEE Main 2023 result. And no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

The result of JEE Main 2023 of the candidates who indulge in unfair means practices will be cancelled and will not be declared. Similarly, the result of those candidates who appear from the centre other than the one allotted to them or allow another candidate or person to write the examination on his behalf will be cancelled. The state code of eligibility means the code of the state from where the candidate has passed the Class 12 or equivalent exam by virtue of which the candidate becomes eligible to appear in JEE Main 2023. It is important to note that the state code of eligibility does not depend upon the native place or the place of residence of the candidate.

Only those candidates who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or those who are appearing in Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2023, are eligible to appear in JEE Main 2023. Candidates who passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2020 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2024 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE Main 2023.

JEE Main 2023 exam city allotment 2023 is not JEE Main 2023 admit card. This is advance information for the allotment of the city where the examination centre will be located, to facilitate the candidates. JEE Mains hall ticket release date will be announced soon by the NTA at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to release the JEE Main 2023 admit card. As per the latest update, JEE Main 2023 admit card will be released "later". 

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2023) session 1 will be held at different exam centres located in 290 cities throughout the country and 25 Cities outside India from January 24 to February 1. JEE Main admit card 2023 will have details on the exam centre. Meanwhile, students will be able to download JEE Main 2023 exam intimation slip from jeemain.nta.nic.in.

NTA has released the JEE Mains mock test 2023 for free in online mode for aspirants. The mock test is available on the mobile application ‘National Test Abhyas’.

JEE Main 2023 syllabus with weightage is available in PDF form on official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in. The syllabus with weightage for Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry has been prepared on the basis of the previous year's exams.

The NTA will conduct the JEE Main session 1 exam in two shifts. The first shift for Paper 1 (BE, BTech) will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. The first shift for Paper 2 for BArch and BPlanning will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.

• Submit and download JEE Main 2023 admit card.

The JEE Main 2023 will be conducted in two sessions for admissions in the next academic session. The candidates will thus benefit in the following ways:

• This will give two opportunities to the candidates to improve their scores in the examination if they are not able to give their best in one attempt. 
• In the first attempt, the students will get a first-hand experience of taking an examination and will know their mistakes which they can improve while attempting for the second time. 
• This will reduce the chances of dropping a year and droppers would not have to waste an entire year.
• If anyone missed the examination due to reasons beyond control (such as the board exam), then he or she will not have to wait for one entire year.
• A candidate need not appear in both sessions. However, if a candidate appears in more than one session then his or her best scores will be considered for the preparation of the merit list or ranking.

JEE Main 2023 will be conducted in the following modes: 

• Paper 1 (BE/BTech) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only.
• Paper 2A (BArch) Mathematics (Part 1) and Aptitude Test (Part 2) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only and Drawing Test (Part 3) in pen and paper (offline) mode, to be attempted on drawing sheet of A4 size. 
• Paper 2B (BPlanning): Mathematics (Part 1), Aptitude Test (Part 2), and Planning-Based Questions (Part 3) in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode only.

For appearing in the JEE Main 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12 or equivalent examination in 2021, 2022 or appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE Main 2023 examination. The JEE Main all India rank will be compiled and declared after Session 2 of JEE Main 2023 exam gets over.

The NTA scores for each of the candidates in total in BE/BTech for session 1 as well as for session 2 of JEE Main 2023 will be merged for the compilation of JEE Main 2023 results and preparation of the overall merit list or Ranking. 2. In no case, the duplicate NTA will release JEE Main admit card at the examination centres.

Is JEE Main 2023 postponed: The JEE Main 2023 session 1 will start on January 24 and will continue till January 31. Hearing a plea on postponing the JEE Main 2023 session 1 exam, the Bombay High Court said: "Any orders passed to postpone may have a cascading effect. If a student does not fare well in JEE January, he can compete in April. Extraordinary circumstances don't seem to exist. It wouldn't be appropriate to restrain the respondent from conducting a pan India exam."

NTA will use a conversion method to arrive at the JEE Mains 2023 marks. "Conversion of the raw score in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and the conversion of the total into NTA scores. Overall merit shall be prepared by merging NTA scores of all shifts of all days," an NTA statement said.

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main comprises two papers. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes (BE/BTech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and institutions/universities funded/recognized by participating state governments. JEE Main is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced, which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to BArch and BPlanning courses in the country.

The students can access and download the JEE Main admit card from the official website, once declared. The official websites of NTA are:

The JEE Main 2023 admit card will be released soon on the official website. The release date and time will be notified soon by the National Testing Agency.

NTA has closed the JEE Main 2023 registration process. The application form for JEE Main 2023 was available online on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to register for JEE Main 2023 was January 12.

To access the JEE Main admit card 2023, candidates will need their application number, dates of birth and password.

NTA has not released the JEE Main 2023 admit card. Once released it will be available for download on the official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in.
