Try NowNEW DELHI: There are a number of engineering entrance examinations conducted in India at the national, state as well as institute-level, every year. It is a crucial time for engineering aspirants who have completed Class 12 to choose the right course and college to pursue engineering.

Careers360 has compiled a list of the most applied engineering entrance examinations. Students who wish to appear for these entrance exams can check the details and apply accordingly.
JEE Main 2021
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts a national level Joint Entrance Examination test every year for engineering admission. The NTA is conducting JEE Mains 2021 four times this year - February, March, April and May. With only two sessions left, the JEE Main application form is still available till April 4, 2021. The left out JEE Mains session will be held from April 27 to 30 and May 24 to 28, 2021.
Candidates who crack JEE Main exam have to undergo counselling process conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). There are almost 1,620 JEE Main participating institutes including NITs, IIITs and GFTIs offering admissions through JEE Main. Also, the top 2,50,000 rank holders of JEE Mains 2021 will be eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced for admissions into IITs.
BITSAT 2021
Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS) Pilani conducts BITS Admission Test (BITSAT) for undergraduate admissions. The authorities released the BITSAT application form at bitsadmission.com on February 23. The last date to apply for BITSAT 2021 is May 29, 2021. The BITSAT exam date 2021 is scheduled from June 24 to 30.
On an average, almost 3 lakh students apply for the BITSAT exam. Candidates who qualify the BITSAT 2021 will be eligible for admissions into four BITS campuses - Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad and Dubai.
VITEEE 2021
Vellore Institute of Technology conducts the VITEEE exam for admissions into engineering courses. The authorities commenced VITEEE 2021 registration on November 30. The VITEEE application form is still available at viteee.vit.ac.in. VITEEE exam 2021 will be held from June 18 to 26, 2021.
The authorities shall conduct counselling for VITEEE 2021 qualified candidates. Approximately 2 lakh candidates apply for VITEEE exam every year. The number of seats offered at VIT BTech varies for the different specializations offered at Vellore Institute.
SRMJEEE 2021
The SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) conducts SRMJEEE for engineering admissions. SRMJEEE 2021 application form was released at srmist.edu.in on December 12. The last date to apply for the SRMJEEE exam 2021 is May 15 and May 31, 2021, for offline and online modes respectively. SRMJEE exam date 2021 is scheduled tentatively from June 11 to 16. Based on ranks obtained in SRMJEEE exam 2021, admissions are offered into various BTech specializations.
Candidates may apply for the most suitable entrance examinations and ensure to do so before the last date of registration.
