NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will begin the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 session 2 examinations for paper 1 (BE/ BTech) from today, April 2. Candidates are not be allowed to carry an electronic device with calculator facilities of calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets in the exam hall.

Students are advised to check the details on the JEE Main 2025 session 2 admit card such as timings, reporting time, and gate closing time. Candidates, who have been allotted the second shift, can visit the examination centre in advance to familiarise them with the location and means of reaching the venue of the test on time.
Items such as any instrument, geometry or pencil box, handbag, purse, any kind of paper, stationery, textual material (printed or written material), eatables and water (loose or packed), mobile phone, ear phone, microphone, pager, calculator, docupen, slide rules, log tables, and any type of watch including electronic watches with facilities of calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets, devices in the examination hall is strictly prohibited.
Notably, candidates should note that there may not be any provision for safe keeping of valuables at the centre.

Although the exam conducting agency has not issued any specific guidelines for the JEE Main 2025 session 2 dress code, the students, both male and female, are advised to wear basic and simple clothes and should avoid putting caps, scarves, accessories, electronic devices, or any other metallic items.
Students should also avoid wearing any jeans or clothes with many pockets and metallic items attached to it because it's prohibited inside the exam hall.
It has also advised students to keep a check on their health before appearing for the exam. Candidates, who are diabetic are allowed to carry sugar tablets, fruits, and transparent water bottles inside the exam hall.
Notably, no candidate will be allowed to sit for the exam without presenting their JEE Main 2025 session 2 admit card with valid id proof. Details such as exam date, timings, venue, and other information will be mentioned on the JEE Main 2025 session 2 admit card.
Furthermore, the NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2025 session 2 exam in two shifts. The forenoon shift will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, while the afternoon shift will take place from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Candidates, who are yet to download their JEE Main 2025 session 2 admit cards for April 2,3, and 4 exams, can get their hall ticket using their login credentials such as application number and password, through the official website of NTA at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
