NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency on May 4 announced the postponement of JEE Main 2021 May session and delay in the registration process due to a spike in coronavirus cases. The previously announced JEE Main 2021 May registration date was May 3 to 12. The official notice read, “The registration for the May Session will be announced at a later stage. The rescheduling of the April and May sessions will be done subsequently.”

As the NTA is likely to release the JEE Main May 2021 registration date soon on the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in - applicants have to keep all the details required to apply for the exam. This will help the aspirants to fill the JEE Main May application form 2021 quickly without any hassle.
Students are required to keep a note of the following things and keep them ready before filling the IIT JEE Main application form:
Scanned images of photograph and signature.
Category certificates (If belonging to reserved category).
Debit card/Internet banking details for payment of JEE Main registration fee 2021.
Photo Identity proof such as Aadhaar, Bank passbook, Ration card copy etc.

Joint Entrance Examination, Main is a national level entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency every year for admission into the undergraduate engineering/ BArch and BPlan courses. This year, NTA is conducting the JEE Main exam four times a year. The first two sessions of the year have been conducted successfully in February and March.
The JEE Main May application dates were announced by the NTA in advance in order to avoid any clash with class 12 board exams. However, the class 12th boards have also been postponed due to the pandemic.
