NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the JEE Main 2025, NEET 2025, and CUET 2025 dates soon. NTA exam calendar 2025 will be released for the engineering, medical, and undergraduate national entrance exams on the official website, nta.ac.in.

NTA 2025 exam calendar PDF will notify the exam dates and mode of exam for the Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main) 2025, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025, Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025, CUET PG 2025, and the University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2025.
NTA exam calendar 2025-26 will also inform students about the tentative exam result dates. The registration date, syllabus, eligibility criteria, examination cities, exam pattern, marking scheme, and other details will be made available through the respective information bulletins which will be published along with the application forms.
JEE Main 2025 session 1 will be conducted in the last week of January next year. NTA may commence JEE Main 2025 registration in November 2024. The exam is conducted in two sessions for admission to engineering programmes.
NEET UG 2025 will determine the students’ eligibility for admission to MBBS and BDS programmes offered at medical and dental colleges across the country.
CUET 2025 will be conducted for admission to undergraduate programmes offered at participating universities. The exam was held in both online and offline mode in the last session with less paper choices and no normalisation of scores.

Most of the candidates who appeared for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2024 were from Uttar Pradesh and the majority wrote the English paper. A total of 11,13,610 aspirants appeared for the exam.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will announce the seat allotment result for the third round of the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2024 today. Candidates who applied and filled choices will be able to check MCC NEET UG round 3 seat allotment on the official website, mcc.nic.in.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is yet to upload the NEET PG counselling schedule 2024 on the official website, mcc.nic.in. The NEET PG 2024 Supreme Court hearing is likely to heard on October 25. Students have been expressing concerns and demanding for more clarity in result preparation method. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan among six states have paused the NEET PG counselling owing to NBE's decision to withhold marks.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will begin the registration for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG 2025) in February. Last year, the NEET UG registration link was hosted on the official website, neet.nta.ac.in, on February 9. The national-level exam is held for medical aspirants seeking admission into MBBS, BDS courses.
There is no age limit for the candidates. Those who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination or are appearing in the board exam irrespective of their age will be allowed to appear in the CUET (UG) irrespective of their age. However, candidates will have to fulfill the age limit criteria if any in the university desirous of taking admission.

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam for UG admission was held for a total of 63 subjects – 33 languages, 29 domain-specific, and one general test. Two new subject papers namely fashion studies and tourism was added this year.
The University Grants Commission (UGC), in March 2024, announced plans to conduct common counselling for UG admission in central and state universities. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) was first held in 2022 for admission to UG courses offered in central universities. Now, the statutory body is planning to have a common counselling and as a sample, five universities have been roped in.
Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main 2025) to replace Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) from the next academic year 2025-26, as per reports. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board will announce the decision regarding qualifying examination for admission into engineering and pharmacy courses offered in the state universities.
This year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the CUET UG 2024 exam from May 15 to 29 at various exam centres across India and 26 international locations. Of the total number of candidates registered, 2,34,210 candidates were marked absent.

The CUET UG 2024 exam was held in May and later a retest was conducted by the NTA for some candidates who raised complaints. The CUET UG results 2024 was declared on July 28 for around 13 lakh candidates. The delay in announcement of CUET results disrupted the academic calendar and admission process, the Delhi University teachers wrote to the Vice Chancellor and requested him to reconsider its decision to offer admission through CUET score.

The NTA announced the JEE Main, NEET UG, CUET UG and PG exam dates on September 14 last year. As per the previous year's trends, the testing agency is expected to publish the NTA exam calendar 2025 soon on the official website, nta.ac.in.

For the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025, candidates belonging to the general category will be required to pay Rs 1,700 while those belonging to the General-EWS, OBC-NCL categories will have to make payment of Rs 1,600. NEET UG application fee for SC, ST, PwBD, and third gender applicants will be Rs 1,000. Moreover, those wishing to apply for exam outside India will need to deposit an amount of Rs 9,500.

The National Testing Agency has made a profit in crores by conducting the NEET and CUET exams in the 2024-25 academic session. However, the exam city coordinators - school principals - who help conduct the exam have not received their payment for a long time.
