NTA issued a notification clarifying various issues that were raised by students after the declaration of JEE Main 2024 paper 1 session 1 results. "JEE Main session 1 has been conducted as per the norms and procedures followed for the conduct of any high-stakes examination, NTA ensured that the examination provided fair and equal opportunity for all candidates," NTA said.

When two candidates obtain equal score, the tie-breaking method will be used to resolve the tie-

• NTA score in mathematics, followed by
• NTA score in aptitude test, followed by
• NTA score in drawing test, followed by
• Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects in the test, followed by
• Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in mathematics in the test, followed by
• Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in aptitude test (Part-II) in the test followed by
• Candidate older in age followed by
• Application number of candidate in ascending order

The JEE Main session 1 exam was held in 13 languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu).

A total of 74,002 candidates registered for JEE Main 2024 paper 2 exam of session 1, of which 55,493 individuals, constituting 75% appeared. 

The JEE Main paper 2 Architecture and Planning exam took place on February 24, 2024 in a single shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.

The cut-offs for admission to BArch and BPlanning programs will be issued by individual institutes based on the percentile score following the result declaration.

For every correct answer, candidates will get marks (+4)

Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).

If all options are correct, then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.

No, there is no provision for revaluation or rechecking of the declared JEE Main paper 2 result 2024. The result will be considered final.

• Click on the updated JEE Main 2024 session 1 B.Arch result link
• Enter your JEE Main application number, date of birth and security pin in the designated fields and click on the submit button
• The  JEE Main Barch/BPlanning result will be displayed on the screens.

The total number of candidates who appeared for JEE Main 2024 B.Arch exam is 55,493. The number of registered candidates of JEE Main 2024 paper 2 exam is 74002. NTA recorded an attendance percentage of 75% in the JEE Main session 1 paper 2 exam 2024.

The JEE Mains 2024 marking scheme is as follows:

• For every correct answer- four marks will be allotted.
• For every incorrect answer- one mark will be deducted.
• For answers with numeric values, no negative marks will be deducted.
