Performance in JEE Main 2021 exam is one of the criteria that students must meet to be eligible for advanced registration. Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in BE/BTech paper of JEE Main 2021 in order to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2021.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority is expected to release the JoSAA 2021 counselling schedule immediately after the declaration of NTA JEE Mains result 2021.
