JEE Mains 2022: Registration process shortened; know how to fill application form

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made some changes in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains 2022) which will be held in two phases - April and May.

The JEE Mains application form has been upgraded in order to enable filling the application form in small sections. The updated process will have three steps as given below:

• Registration form

• Application form (filling personal details, applying for examination cities, qualification details, additional details, document upload)

• Fee payment

During the registration process, only Session 1 (April) will be visible in the first session. Session 2 (May) will be visible when the window will be opened again.

An additional column has been added in the application form to enter the AADHAR number of the candidates on a voluntary basis, and the family annual income column has been made a mandatory field.

After the application process, a copy of the confirmation page and the final scorecard will be sent to the registered e-mail address of the candidates. An option has been provided for cross-checking of the uploaded photograph too.

NTA will provide notifications through the SANDES Application apart from SMS and E-mail and provide results in the UMANG and DigiLocker platforms to download documents like Confirmation Page, Admit Card, Score Cards, etc. NTA will also provide scribes for JEE Manis candidates who require them.
