JEE Main 2022 Exam Live Updates: Registration begins at jeemain.nta.nic, steps to apply, pattern revised

Details regarding the JEE Main 2022 number of attempts have been released along with the announcement of IIT JEE exam dates 2022. The authorities will conduct JEE Main 2022 2 times  April and May.  

This year, the NTA has introduced a change in the JEE Main 2022 marking scheme. There will be negative marking in Section B as well. There will be negative marking for both Section A and Section B. For each question in Section B, enter the correct integer value of the answer using the mouse and the on-screen virtual numeric keypad in the place designated to enter the answer. For Section B, the answer should be rounded off to the nearest integer. 

The authorities have notified that candidates who registered for the JEE Advanced 2021 and were absent for both the papers are eligible to “directly appear for JEE Advanced 2022”.

The JEE Main 2022 exam will be conducted in two shifts for three hour duration. The JEE Main 2022 exam timings for shift 1 is 9 am to 12 pm, while the shift 2 will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm.

The NTA has announced the JEE Mains 2022 application form last date. Candidates who wish to apply for JEE Main 2022 April exam can apply online till March 31 (5 PM). However, JEE Main 2022 application fee can be paid till March 31 (11:30 PM).

JEE Main Exam Date for Session 1 are April 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21. JEE Main 2022 Session 2 will be conducted on May 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29. The JEE registration started at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2022.
