The overall difficulty level of the Mathematics section was easy. The Mathematics section was relatively easier as compared to the Chemistry and Physics section. Overall 3rd April Shift 2 Mathematics paper was of a similar difficulty level as of 3rd April Shift 1 paper and 2nd April’s shifts. The mathematics section was easy as compared to the JEE Main 2025 January Session. The mathematics section was easy as compared to the JEE Main 2024. Overall, the mathematics section was lengthy but doable.

The Physics section was relatively "easy" compared to Mathematics and harder than Chemistry. The 3rd April evening shift Physics paper was tough compared to the 3rd April morning shift. The entry to the exam hall for shift 1 of JEE Main 2025 session 2 has now closed. As per the guidelines, candidates were required to reach the centre well before the reporting time to complete security checks and other formalities. The shift 1 exam is scheduled to begin at 9 am.

The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam on April 3 will be held in two shifts. Shift 1 will start at 9 am and continue for three hours till 12 pm, while Shift 2 will take place from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Candidates scoring 120 in JEE Main 2025 Session 2 can expect a percentile between 96 and 97.4.

The entry gates for JEE Main Session 2 2025 shift 1 will close 30 minutes before the start of the exam at 8:30 am. Candidates should reach the exam centre well in advance to complete the verification process on time.
As per the JEE Main dress code guidelines, female candidates are advised to avoid mehendi, jewellery, and heavy or expensive ornaments at the exam centre.

The JEE Main 2025 exam is scheduled for April 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9. Paper 1 (BE/BTech) will be conducted in two shifts on April 2, 3, 4, and 7, while on April 8, it will take place in a single shift. The BArch and BPlanning exams are set for April 9 in the morning shift from 9 am to 12 noon.
