Following the usual pattern, the NTA released the provisional answer key and invited objections. No changes in the final answer key mean that the answers were correct and none of the objections were valid.
The online application process for Session 2 was held from February 1 to February 25, 2026. After requests from candidates, the application window was reopened on March 12 and 13, 2026. Admit cards were released in phases on March 29 and April 1, 2026.

For Paper 2 (B.Arch./B.Planning), around 54,953 candidates registered in India and 270 from abroad. The attendance was about 73%, and nearly 97% candidates completed Aadhaar authentication.
How to check JEE Main 2026 session 2 final key?
Candidates are not required to log in using roll number or date of birth
- Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in
- On homepage, look for public notices section
- Click on link that reads, "Final Answer Keys for JEE(Main) – 2026 Paper-II [B.Arch / B.Planning]"
- Final answer key PDF will open up on screen
- Go through the same and download it
- Take its printout for future references
Result date
Although the exact date and time for the declaration of results have not been announced, it is expected to be declared any day now. Candidates are advised to be ready with their application number to check and download scorecards online. The JEE (Main) - 2026 Session 2 for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) was announced on April 20, hours after the release of the final key. For more details, one can go to the official website.
