JEECUP Counselling 2024: Round 2 choice-filling begins; submission deadline July 24
JEECUP 2024 round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on July 25.

NEW DELHI : The Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh has commenced the JEECUP 2024 round 2 choice-filling process today, July 22. Candidates who qualified in the JEECUP 2024 exam can fill preferences of colleges and courses for the counselling by visiting the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
As per the JEECUP 2024 counselling schedule, round 2 choice-filling facility will close on July 24. Based on the choices filled by the applicants, the JEE CUP 2024 round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on July 25. JEECUP 2024 round 2 seat acceptance fee can be paid between July 26 and 30.
JEECUP 2024 Round 2 Counselling: Document verification
As per the JEECUP 2024 counselling dates, round 2 document verification at the district help centres is scheduled from July 26 to 30. Online balance fee deposit for Government, aided, PPP polytechnic institutes can be paid between July 26 to 31. As per JEECUP round 2 counselling schedule, seat withdrawal deadline is August 1.
JEECUP 2024 Round 2 Counselling: Options after seat allotment
Candidates will have the following options to choose after being allotted a seat in JEECUP 2024 counselling.
Freeze option : When a candidate chooses the "freeze" option, it means they are satisfied with the seat allotted to them in the current round of counselling. They do not wish to participate in further rounds or consider any other seat options. Candidates lock their seat choice and confirm their acceptance.
Float option : Opting for "float" allows candidates to accept the currently allotted seat but also indicates their willingness to be considered for higher-preference choices in subsequent rounds of counselling. If a better seat becomes available in further rounds, they may opt for it.
Slide option : The "slide" option enables candidates to accept the currently allotted seat but also allows them to slide to a seat of higher preference within the same institution during subsequent rounds, if such a choice becomes available.
JEECUP Counselling 2024: Documents required
Candidates will require the following documents while reporting at the allotted institute during JEECUP counselling:
- JEECUP 2024 admit card
- JEECUP 2024 rank card
- JEECUP counselling allotment letter
- Qualifying examination mark sheets and certificates
- Character certificate
- Migration certificate (if applicable)
- Reservation certificate (if applicable)
- Two photographs
- Domicile certificate
- Two sets of photocopies of the above-mentioned documents
