NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) 2025 exam date has been revised. As per the revised date, JEST 2025 exam will be conducted on April 6. The JEST 2025 will be conducted in a single session from 10 am to 1 pm.

As per the official website, the JEST 2025 registration dates are yet to be announced. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to fill up the JEST 2025 application form by visiting the official website, jest.org.in. The JEST exam was held on March 3 and results were declared on March 27. The JEST 2025 result date is not yet announced.

Candidates are required to pay an application fee to complete the registration process. Male general category candidates are required to pay Rs 950 as JEST 2025 application fee. The JEST 2025 application fee for male belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Economically Weaker Section (EWS) is Rs 475. The JEST 2025 application fee for general category female candidates is Rs 475.

PhD Programme in physics

MSc in Physics (all participating Institutes).

Additionally, some institutes accept BE/ BTech / MSc / ME / MTech in disciplines of applied physics and mathematics.

Computer Science at IMSc

MSc/ ME/ MTech in computer science and related disciplines, and are require to be interested in the mathematical aspects of computer science.

PhD in neuroscience at NBRC

MSc (Physics/ Mathematics), BE/ BTech/ MCA in computer science

Ph D in computational biology at IMSc

MSc/ ME / MTech / MCA in any engineering or science discipline, with good mathematical skills and strong interest in biological problems.

JEST 2025 exam pattern

The JEST 2025 exam will be conducted in offline mode. The duration of the JEST 2025 exam is 3 hours. The JEST 2025 exam will comprise of 50 questions. The exam consists of 3 sections. Section A will have 15 questions, section B will consist of 10 questions and there will be 26 questions in section C. The JEST 2025 paper will carry 100 marks.
