Jharkhand CET 2024 registration begins tomorrow; exam on April 28

NEW DELHI: The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, Ranchi (JCECE) will open the registration window for Combined Entrance Test (CET) for Agriculture and other allied courses 2024 tomorrow, March 1. Interested candidates can apply for the entrance exam through the official website, jceceb. jharkhand.gov.in.
The last date to apply for Jharkhand CET exam is April 1. As per the official notice, the Jharkhand CET exam 2024 will be conducted on April 28 at the Ranchi and Dumka headquarters.
Candidates who have cleared Clear 12 exams with 50 per cent marks in science subjects are eligible to apply for the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry course. Apart from this, the age limit of candidates should be between 17 to 25 years on or before December 31, 2024.
Those who want to apply for BSc in Agriculture, Forestry, BTech Dairy Tech, BTech Agriculture Engineering, BFSc, and BSc Horticulture must have completed class 12 with science securing an aggregate of 50 per cent marks. They must also be between 17 to 22 years of age.

Jharkhand CET 2024 application fees
Candidates belonging to general, EWS, BC, category have to pay the application fee is Rs 900 for the PCM, and PCB groups, and for the PCMB group is Rs 1,000. The Jharkhand CET application fees for SC, ST, and female candidates is Rs 450 for PCM, and PCB groups and it is Rs 500 for PCMB group. While the PwBD category candidates are exempted from paying any application fees.
This Jharkhand CET entrance exam is held for admission to BVSc & AH, BSc (Hons) Agriculture, BSc Forestry, BTech (Dairy Technology), BFSc (Bachelor of Fisheries Science), BTech (Agriculture Engineering), and BSc Horticulture courses.
