Jharkhand NEET UG Counselling 2025: 3,171 eligible for MBBS, BDS admission; choice filling begins

Check NowA total of 3,171 candidates are eligible for admission to MBBS and BDS courses at Jharkhand medical and dental colleges, based on NEET UG 2025 results, according to the state merit list published by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB).

A total of 78 candidates have been declared ineligible due to two major reasons – failure to obtain minimum cut-off marks in NEET, and 50% marks in physics, chemistry, and biology in Class 12.
The registration and choice filling for round 1 of Jharkhand NEET UG counselling 2025 have begun today. Candidates will be given time until August 3 to register on the official website, jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. The last date to edit the order of preference is August 4.
The board will announce the Jharkhand NEET UG seat allotment 2025 results on August 6. As per the round 1 counselling schedule, selected candidates will have to get the documents verified between August 7 to 12.
The health, medical education and family welfare department, Ranchi has earmarked 75 MBBS seats for Laxmi Chandravansi Medical College and Hospital, Bishrampur, Palamu. Out of 75 seats, 60 seats will be under the unreserved category for NEET UG qualified candidates who are residents of any region, including Jharkhand, and the rest 15 seats will be under NRI quota.
As per the age criteria, candidates should be 17 years old at the time admission on or before December 31. There is no upper age limit.
