Jharkhand PECE 2026 exam pattern
As per the Jharkhand PECE exam pattern, the exam is conducted in offline mode using an OMR sheet. It consists of 150 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, each carrying 50 marks. Candidates are given 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam. The syllabus is based on the Class 10 (Madhyamik) level.
According to the Jharkhand PECE marking scheme, candidates get 1 mark for each correct answer. There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. No marks are given for unanswered questions. If more than one option is marked for a question, it is treated as a wrong answer.
The Jharkhand PECE is a state-level exam for admission into diploma courses in engineering and other fields in government and private polytechnic colleges in Jharkhand.
