JH TET 2024: Jharkhand TET 2024 is held for candidates aspiring to secure teaching positions in Jharkhand government schools.
NEW DELHI: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi will close the registration window for the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JHTET) 2024 today, August 26. Interested candidates who want to appear for the eligibility test can apply for the Jharkhand TET 2024 exam through the official website, jactetportal.com.
Earlier the last date to apply for Jharkhand TET 2024 exam was till August 22, which was extended till August 26, 2024. The registration process was started on July 23, 2024.
“JHTET 2024 Application Form Filling last date has been extended till 26-AUG-2024 23:59HRS,” the official notification read. The board will announce the JHTET 2024 exam dates on the official website soon. The JHTET 2024 exam will have two papers including paper 1, paper 2.
The JHTET 2024 exam will be held for a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes. The examination will be conducted for two levels- Level 1 and Level 2. Level 1 is for Class 1 to 5 and Level 2 is for Class 6 to 8. For more related details candidates can check the official website of Jharkhand Academic Council.
Jharkhand TET 2024 application fee
For JHTET 2024 registration, candidates from the unreserved (UR), economically backward class (EBC), and economically weaker sections (EWS) categories are required to pay Rs 1,300 for each paper or Rs 1,500 for both. Candidates belonging to the scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and persons with disabilities (PwD) categories need to pay Rs 700 per paper or Rs 800 for both. Primitive tribe candidates must pay Rs 500 per paper or Rs 600 for both.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to register for JHTET 2024 exam-
- Visit the official website of Jharkhand TET at jactetportal.com.
- Click on JHTET 2024 registration link available on the home page.
- Enter the registration details and click on submit.
- Once done, login to the account.
- Fill the application form and make the payment of application fee.
- Click on submit and download the page.
- Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
The Jharkhand TET 2024 is held for candidates aspiring to secure teaching positions in Jharkhand Government schools. To teach Classes 1 to 5, candidates must qualify for Paper I, while passing Paper II is required to teach Classes 6 to 8.
