JKBOSE revises Class 10th date sheet in view of assembly by-elections

Download EBookThe Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBoSE) has revised the date sheet for Class 10 annual exams for winter-zone areas, in view of the assembly bye-elections. Accordingly, the social science paper has been rescheduled for November 26 while the science subject exam has been moved to November 11.
No exam will be held on November 7 and 14 now as the by-elections are due on November 11 in Budgam and Nagrota. JKBOSE Class 10 revised date sheet is available on the official website, jkbose.nic.in.
“It is hereby notified for information of all the stakeholders in general and the students of Class 10 in particular that the date sheet for Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) Annual/ Regular, 2025 (Oct- Nov session) has been revised in view of Assembly Bye-elections,” said JK Board in an official notification.

The board clarified that the exam timings and centres notified earlier will remain the same. JKBOSE 10th annual exams for Kashmir and Jammu divisions began on November 3 with the mathematics paper. The board has provided a 15% relaxation in Class 10 syllabus. Around 95,000 students are taking the annual theory exams at 994 exam centres, as per the school education department.
