JKLU conducts masterclass with Olin College of Engineering

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 17: In order to bring Indian education up to date with world class standards, leading experiential learning institute, the J K Lakshmipat University conducted a Masterclass with Olin College of Engineering. Where the participants got a first-hand opportunity to witness a cutting-edge learning experience and environment and interact with faculty and students who are implementing project-based learning in the Indian context.
Prof MP Poonia Vice- president AICTE emphasized on providing students autonomy, time and space in order to improve the desired skills such as innovative, Decision making and problem solving skills. Technical education success rate is less than 50%, 30% of which found eligible for industries. Looking at increasing in dropout %, focus on teaching learning method need to be improved. He encouraged such pedagogy of project based learning. He appreciated what JKLU is practicing such pedagogy which currently our country demands.
