JKPSC registration ends tomorrow for medical officer posts; eligibility criteria

NEW DELHI: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) will close the registration window for recruitment to the post of medical officer (Allopathic) in the Health and Medical Education Department tomorrow, March 27. Eligible candidates can fill out the JKPSC application form by visiting the official website at jkpsc.nic.in.
As per the official schedule, the JKPSC application form correction window will be open for seven days from March 28 to April 3, 2024. The commission will soon declare the exam dates on the official website. The JKPSC recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 163 medical officer posts in the department.
Candidates from unreserved (UR) categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1000 to register for the exam. Candidates from other backward classes (OBC), scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST) categories should pay Rs 500 to fill out the application form.
JKPSC Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria
Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for JKPSC medical officer posts given below.
Age Limit: Candidates age should not be more than 40 years old as of January 1, 2024. The upper age limit relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a degree in Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or a recognized graduate medical qualification.

Login using the credentials and proceed with the application process.

Fill up the application form, pay the fee, and submit the form.

Download the application form and take a printout for future reference.
