JMI extends admission applications 2026 till April 2 for undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses

JMI Admission 2026: Jamia Millia Islamia extends last date for 2026–27 admissions; candidates can apply online at official portal
Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has extended the last date for submission of admission applications for the 2026–27 academic session for undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), diploma, PG diploma, advanced diploma, and certificate courses. Candidates who are yet to apply can submit their forms at admission.jmi.ac.in
The last date for the submission of admission forms is now April 2.
The university has advised interested applicants to complete their application process within the revised deadline. It has also clarified that no applications will be accepted after the specified date.
The official announcement stated, “all interested candidates are advised to complete the application process within the extended deadline,” adding that “no applications will be accepted after the specified date.”

JMI Application 2026: Steps to apply
Candidates can follow the below steps to apply for 2026 JMI admission entrance exam;

Visit the JMI admission portal and select “New Registration” to create an account using a valid email ID and mobile number

Complete the account activation by clicking the link sent to your email and entering the verification code received on your phone

Log in, go to “My Application”, choose your preferred course (UG, PG, Diploma, etc.), and fill in the required personal and academic details

Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature (JPEG format, up to 100KB each)

Pay the application fee online through debit card, credit card, or net banking (usually between Rs 700 to Rs 1000)

Check all entered details carefully before final submission, then download and print the confirmation page for future reference
