JNU Admission 2022: UG merit list today; know selection process

NEW DELHI: Jawaharlal Nehru University will publish the JNU first merit list 2022 today, October 17. Candidates can visit the official website of JNU (jnu.ac.in/main) to check the merit list of JNU for admission in UG programmes.
The university has released the JNU 2022 application form for admission in UG courses through CUET on September 27 for admission in 342 undergraduate courses. Applicants could submit their JNU application form 2022 till October 12.
Candidates can find several details about their application, including their name, opted programme, roll number, category, registration number, and the marks they received on the JNU 2022 merit list.

Candidates will not receive the merit list for JNU 2022 by courier or post. Candidates can check the merit list on the NTA website.

No further changes will be made to the JNU merit list 2022.

The JNU merit list 2022 is based on the candidates' scores in the CUET UG exam.

A rank list is prepared by the university based on a candidate's categories/reservations. Candidates of the special categories will receive consideration.

Candidates who have been shortlisted must register for counselling sessions. Attendance will not be allowed if they fail to comply.

The next candidate in the merit list will receive the seat of the candidate who fails to attend the counselling session.
Common University Entrance Tests (UG) were conducted by the NTA from July 15 and August 30 for admission to 44 central universities and 46 other universities. CUET result 2022 was announced on September 16.

There are 342 undergraduate seats and 1025 postgraduate seats available at the university in various schools and disciplines. JNU has been conducting admission through JNU Entrance Examination (JNUEE) since 2019 at different centres of the country in collaboration with NTA in computer based test (CBT) mode.
