JNU Admission 2024: Registration last date extended for UG, COP courses; apply by tomorrow

NEW DELHI: The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has extended the registration window for admission to undergraduate (UG) and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programmes till 11.50 pm tomorrow, August 14. The application form correction facility has been made available for the registered candidates today. Candidates will be allowed to make edits in the submitted form before the application deadline.

The JNU admissions 2024 registration form has been hosted on the official website, jnuee.jnu.ac.in. Candidates will have to register using their NTA application number ID and date of birth as password.

“With reference to the Notification dated 02.08.2024, this is brought to the notice of all concerned that the last date of submission of online application forms for admission in UG and COP programmes in the university for Academic Session 2024-25 has been further extended upto 14.08.2024 (11:50 PM).” the latest JNU notification read.

JNU Admissions 2024: Eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria for admission to various JNU UG and COP programmes are as follows.

For BA and BSc programmes: Candidates should have passed Class 12 exams or equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% qualifying marks. The selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2024) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

For COP programmes: Candidates should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in Class 12. There are no viva exams for BA, BSc, or COP programmes.

The application fee for JNU UG programmes is Rs 268, and for COP programmes, it is Rs 219. Candidates have to pay the registration fee before submitting the application form.
