NEW DELHI: Joint Seat Allocation Authority is going to commence the JoSAA registration tomorrow from September 12. Eligible candidates will be able to complete the JoSAA 2022 registration from josaa.nic.in. At the time of registration of JoSAA, applicants have to enter their personal details, communication information, education qualification and others. The last date to complete the JoSAA 2022 registration is September 21.

Applicants declared qualified in the JEE Main and JEE Advanced 2022 are eligible for JoSAA counselling registration 2022. The authorities conduct JoSAA counselling for the admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
JoSAA registration 2022 and choice filling process
Applicants declared qualified in the JEE Advanced and Main have to complete the registration process. Applicants declared qualified in JEE Main have to login through JEE registration number and password while JEE Advanced qualified candidates have to use Advanced registration number.
Registration: Applicants first have to fill their basic details in JoSAA registration form 2022. The portal will fetch other information automatically from the database. Candidates also have to create one login password for JoSAA 2022.
Choice Filling: The next step after JoSAA registration is choice filling. Applicants have to choose a list of preferred colleges and courses from the login facility. Candidates are advised to choose a maximum number of colleges and courses for higher chance of getting admissions.
Choice Locking: After choice filling, applicants must check all the filled details carefully. After reviewing all details, applicants have to submit the JoSAA couselling choices for future reference.
On the basis of JoSAA choice filling, the authorities will release the seat allotment result at the official website. Applicants will be able to check the JoSAA seat allotment result through login credentials.
