The Joint Seat Allocation Authority has announced the JoSAA 2022 round 3 allotment result today, October 3. The candidates who have registered for JoSAA counselling can check the round 3 seat allotment result on the official website- josaa.nic.in. Candidates have to log in to the website using their application numbers and password to check the JoSAA seat allotment round 3 results.

The candidates shortlisted in the JoSAA round 3 allotment list have to confirm their admission by reporting online at the institute and paying the admission fee between October 3 to 6, 2022. The JoSAA seat allotment result for the round 4 seats will release on October 6. JoSAA will allot seats to the shortlisted candidates on the basis of JEE Advanced 2022/ JEE Main 2022 rank list, preference filling, and availability of seats in engineering institutes.

How To Check JoSAA Round 3 Seat Allotment Result
Follow the below steps to check the JoSAA round 3 seat allotment.
- Visit the official website - josaa.nic.in
- On the Home Page, Click on the link “Seat Allotment Result - Round 3”
- Log in with the JEE Main application number and password.
- Now, download the PDF and print a copy for further reference.
After checking the result of round 3 seat allotment, the candidates can opt for any one of the following options:
- Freeze - A candidate can choose the freeze option if he is satisfied with the seat and does not wish to participate in the further rounds of JoSAA counselling 2022.

Float - A candidate can choose the float option if he is satisfied with the seat but wants to be considered for other institutes during the future rounds of JoSAA seat allocation.

Slide - A candidate can choose the slide option if he wishes to accept the allotted seat but want to get admission into a higher preferred course in the same institute.
