JoSAA 2025 round 5 seat allotment today; IIT orientation, class commencement schedule revised

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will announce the JoSAA seat allotment results 2025 for the fifth round today. The JoSAA opening and closing rank 2025 for IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other engineering institutions will also be made available on the official website, josaa.nic.in.

Candidates allotted seats in the fifth round of JoSAA counselling 2025 will have to confirm their admission and pay the seat acceptance fee by July 15. The last date to withdraw from the counselling is July 15.

As per the schedule, the sixth and final round seat allotment through JoSAA counselling for IIT admissions will be announced on July 16. The selection process for IITs will conclude on July 21 and candidates will have to complete the admission and fee payment process by July 20.

Meanwhile, the authority will also complete the seat withdrawal and resolve the payment issued for NIT+systems between July 16 to July 28.

How to check JoSAA 5th round seat allotment

Detailed steps to view and download the JoSAA counselling allotment results.

• Visit the JoSAA official website – josaa.nic.in – to check the fifth allotment results.
• Now, click on the ‘Round 5 seat allotment result’ link under the ‘Candidate Activity Board’
• Now, enter the JEE Mains 2025 application number, password, and security pin as displayed.
• The JoSAA round 5 seat allotment results will be displayed.
• Check the allotted colleges and exercise the ‘freeze, float, or slide’ options.
• Download the JoSAA allotment letter and save it for future reference.
