JoSAA counselling 2023 schedule revised; here's what changed

Use NowNEW DELHI : The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has revised the schedule for JoSAA counselling 2023. As per the revised schedule, the last date to respond to the query against round 6 has been changed to tomorrow, July 29. Candidates can respond to queries on the official website, josaa.nic.in.
Earlier, the last date to respond to queries was July 28. The seat allocation result for JoSAA counselling 2023 round 6 was declared on July 27. The last date to report to the allotted institutes is today, July 28. The rest of the schedule remains the same. Candidates cannot withdraw the allotted seat after the last round.

Between July 29 to July 31, candidates will have to pay the Partial Admission Fee (PAF). Non-payment of the fee will lead to the rejection of the seat offered to the candidate. Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, GEN-PwD, GEN-EWS-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC-PwD or ST-PwD will have to pay a non-refundable PAF of Rs 16,000 while all other candidates will have to pay Rs 36,000. The PAF will be adjusted in the admission fee.
“If a candidate fails to pay PAF (Please see Annexure 3 for the timeline), the candidate will forfeit the provisionally allotted seat. The vacant seat thus created will be made available to the candidates in CSAB 2023 special rounds. In such cases, the Seat Acceptance Fee paid shall be refunded to these candidates, after deducting a processing fee of Rs. 7000,” said JoSAA in the official brochure.
The Central Seat Allocation Board has released the CSAB 2023 special round schedule to fill the vacant seats after completion of JoSAA counselling 2023. As per the schedule, the process will begin from July 30. The interested candidates will be able to apply for CSAB 2023 special round on the official website – csab.nic.in from August 3.
