NEW DELHI: The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) will close the registration for the Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Examination 2024. Eligible candidates can fill out the JPSC application form 2024 by visiting the JPSC official website at jpsc.gov.in. The JPSC Civil Services Exam 2024 is scheduled to be held from March 17.
The JPSC recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 342 vacancies for various posts, including probation officer, tax officer, jail superintendent, labour superintendent, etc. To qualify for the Main examination, candidates are required to secure a minimum score of 40%.
Candidates who belong to the unreserved (UR), economically weaker section (EWS), and other backward class (OBC) categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and persons with disability (PWD) category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 50. The last date to pay the JPSC application fee is tomorrow, March 1.
JPSC Civil Services Exam 2024: Eligibility criteria
Candidates should check the eligibility criteria given below before submitting their applications for the JPSC Civil Services Exam 2024.
Age limit: Candidates age should be between 21 years old to 35 years old. Upper age limit relaxations are applicable for reserved category candidates.
Educational qualification: Candidates should have a degree from one of the universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislatures in India, or from other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or have such qualification as the Government may declare equivalent.

JPSC Civil Services Exam 2024: Paper pattern
Jharkhand Combined Civil Services exam is conducted in three stages. Stage 1 is a preliminary exam that carries two papers. Each paper carries 200 marks and qualifying in nature. Stage 2 is the JPSC Main exam which is conducted in pen-paper mode. Candidates who pass the main examination are then invited for stage 3, which is a personality test or an Interview.
