Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2021: Repeaters, private students to be promoted without exams
Karnataka 2nd PUC has announced to promote repeaters, private students to the next class without appearing for exams.
NEW DELHI: The Karnataka government has decided that repeaters and private students of Karnataka 2nd pre-university course (PUC) will be promoted without exams, NDTV reported. This year, the Karnataka 2nd PUC exams could not be conducted due to COVID-19 pandemic. Students who have registered for the Karnataka 2nd PUC repeaters examination will now be promoted to the next class, without conducting the exams.
The Karnataka Board decided to award grades to students on the basis of their performance at the district level assessment in the first PUC examination. Meanwhile, the board has also announced the evaluation criteria for Karnataka 2nd PUC students. They can check the latest updates on the board’s official website,kseeb.kar.nic.in.
As per the report of Times Now News, 45 percent weightage will be given SSLC and I PUC each. 10 percent weightage will be granted based on the academic performance in 2nd PUC and 5 percent grace marks will also be added to students. This year, around 76,000 repeaters students have enrolled for the Karnataka 2nd PUC exams.
Students who are not satisfied with the grading system can take up the examination, the dates for which will be announced later.
