Karnataka 2nd PUC time table revised due to clash with JEE Mains 2022 exam dates

NEW DELHI: Department of Pre-university Education, Karnataka has released the tentative revised Karnataka 2nd PUC time table for the April- May exams 2022 due to clash with Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains 2022) exam dates. The board has asked students to file objections to the draft Karnataka 2nd PUC date sheet by March 5, 2022.
Earlier, the Karnataka 2nd PUC exam was scheduled from April 16 to May 4, 2022. However, after the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced that the JEE Main 2022 exam will commence from April 16, the board has revised the date sheet for the 2nd PUC exam.

The board in the recent notification said that the changes have been made due to the clash with JEE Mains 2022 exam. As per the schedule released by the NTA, JEE Mains 2022 will be held in two phases. The April session will begin from April 16 to 21, while the May session will commence from May 24 to 29, 2022.
Telangana, Jharkhand board exams 2022 schedule is also clashing with the engineering entrance exam. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) students have also been demanding for change in the CBSE term 2 exam dates. The CBSE announced that the CBSE Class 10, 12 term 2 exams will begin from April 26, 2022.
