KEA has cancelled the admissions of the five students and withdrawn the seat allotment result published on February 25. Explaining the error, KEA said that five NEET PG aspirants who were allotted seats in round 3 of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) NEET PG counselling 2024 were also given state quota seats in the state counselling.
As per the orders of the high court and the eligibility criteria for Karnataka NEET PG stray vacancy round counselling 2024, those who have been allotted MCC seats are not eligible to participate in the state NEET PG counselling.
“But due to technical reasons, five candidates allotted in Round-3 of MCC were also included inadvertently in the stray vacancy round final seat allotment list published on 25-02-2025. Hence, the published Stray Vacancy Round final seat allotment list is withdrawn with immediate effect. The seat allotments to the said five candidates are cancelled and the Stray Vacancy Round revised final seat allotment result after re-allotment is published,” said KEA in an official notice.
As per the counselling schedule, those who have been allotted seats in this round will have to make fee payment between February 25 and February 28. The last date for reporting to the allotted college is February 28.
The provisional seat allotment results were announced on February 24. Candidates were allowed to deposit the caution money between February 21 and 24.
