Karnataka NEET UG 2025: Round 2 option entry begins, seat allotment on August 29

A total of 5,250 medical and dental seats left for round 2 of Karnataka NEET counselling.
Karnataka NEET UG 2025 round 2 option entry has begun, along with the payment of the caution deposit. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has published the revised seat matrix for medical, dental, homoeopathic, and ayurveda programmes.
The NEET UG round 2 Karnataka counselling is done on the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Participants should click on the “second round option entry link” button to be redirected to the candidate portal. Students can log in using their QR code, CET number, or application number.
Candidates participating in the Karnataka NEET counselling have to pay a caution deposit of Rs 1 lakh on or before August 25, 2025. Preferences for colleges and courses can be modified, deleted, and re-ordered before the last date. The round 2 seat allotment will be done on the modified options.
Karnataka NEET UG 2025: Deposit
Candidates who were allotted a medical seat during the Karnataka NEET round 1 allotment do not need to pay the caution deposit again. For new candidates, the deposit will be adjusted against the tuition fees.

The Karnataka MBBS counselling round 2 seat allotment result will be declared by KEA on August 29, after 1 pm. The allotment will be provisional, and candidates can withdraw their admission or opt for seat upgradation. The authority will later publish a final allotment list for round 2.
