BHU stall includes detailed information on the university and its highlights. It also includes paintings and other products by students and faculty.

NEW DELHI: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is currently hosting the month-long Kashi Tamil Sangamam programme and has set up a stall depicting its journey and milestones.
The university has displayed detailed information on the various institutions, faculties, centers of study and research, its museum - Bharat Kala Bhavan, the residence of Mahamana - Malaviya Bhawan, Sayaji Rao Gaekwad Central Library. The stall also provides a look into the university’s establishment and its foundation goals. Institute of Agricultural Sciences, consultant and former director, Ramesh Chand explains that the stall aims to give an overview about the university and how it has been playing a big role in nation building.

"BHU is a unique institution which offers education in large number of disciplines, from ancient knowledge to modern sciences. We have tried to present a glimpse of the celebrated journey of Banaras Hindu University and how this great institution has been contributing in all round development of students," added Chand.
The stall was conceptualised by Faculty of visual arts, Manish Arora. The stall features QR codes on the highlights of the university, by scanning these highlights the visitors will be provided with detailed information on their mobile phones. Various paintings made by students and faulty of the visual arts department have also been displayed at the stall.
In addition to these, products made by the Institute of Agricultural Sciences, department of dairy science and food technology also have been added to the display. The products offered by the department include Mahamana Prasadam and other products like black wheat flour based Halwa, apple jam and raw papaya pickle are also put on display to make people aware of the nutritious value of these products.
