NEW DELHI, June 1: The result of Karnataka CET 2018 has been announced on June 1 in online mode by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Candidates who have appeared in the entrance exam can check their results by entering their registration number. KCET result includes scores and ranks of the qualified candidates. The rank card can also be downloaded by candidates while checking their result.

It is important for candidates to keep their KCET result safe as it will be required in the admission process further. During KCET result preparation, candidates have been allotted 1 mark for each correct answer. However, no marks were deducted in case of a wrong answer. In order to calculate the final scores of the candidates, the marks allotted were summed up.

Steps to check KCET result

  • Click on the KCET official result link
  • Enter KCET 2018 registration number
  • Click on “Submit” button
  • Check the KCET result and download it
  • Check whether the result sheet reflects any changes in the qualifying marks.
  • Don’t forget to cross-verify the code on CET result sheet.
  • In case of any discrepancies, the result can be challenged. 

While downloading the result, candidates must check the following things mentioned over it.

What does KCET result carry?

  • Subject wise scores

  • Total scores secured in KCET 2018

  • Answer Sheet with responses by the candidates

  • Ranks of the candidates

How to raise objections?

In case, candidates are not satisfied with the result sheet, they can raise their objections within 3 days of the result announcement. The results of such candidates will be declared later. It is to be noted that objections can only be raised against the qualifying marks on the KCET result sheet, and not against the marks secured in the entrance exam.

What after result?

KEA will conduct the counselling and seat allotment procedure of KCET for the candidates who have qualified in the entrance exam. The counselling will commence from June 5 in both offline and online mode. For counselling, candidates will have to verify their documents at the counselling centre after which they will be provided with a user ID and password. Seats will be allotted to candidates according to their preference and merit ranks.
