NEW DELHI: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has now opened the official KEA portal for uploading of documents by the candidates today, September 7, at 11.20 AM. Candidates can now login to the portal at kea.kar.nic.in or cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea and upload the required documents for verification. Candidates will have to upload their documents as per a rank-wise schedule which has been already released by the authorities on the official website. Today, candidates with ranks between 1 to 2000 will be able to upload their documents. The authorities also released the list of documents to be uploaded by the candidates.

Candidates have to follow this schedule and upload their documents accordingly.

List of documents to be uploaded by the candidates

Candidates are required to upload the following documents as per the schedule-

  • KCET 2020 Application Form Printout

  • KCET 2020 admit card/admission ticket.

  • SSLC / 10th Marksheet.

  • 2nd PUC / 12th Standard Marks Card

  • 7 years study certificate counter signed by the concerned BEO / DDPI.

  • Income Certificate (If applicable)

  • Rural Study Certificate (If applicable)

  • Kannada Medium Certificate (If applicable)

  • Caste Certificate (If applicable)

  • Parent’s study certificate / Parent’s Hometown certificate / Parent’s Domicile certificate / Parent’s Employment certificate / Parent’s Cumulative Record / Parent’s Marks Card, etc., for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the domicile / study / employment of the parent.

  • Duly sworn in Affidavit of the candidate who claims eligibility under Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses C and D. (Regarding Mother Tongue)

  • Identity Card issued by the Jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner / District Magistrate/Rehabilitation Commissioner, for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats under Jammu & Kashmiri Migrants quota.

Instructions for uploading documents

  • The authorities have also released some additional instructions for uploading documents for KCET 2020. Check the instructions here-

  • The documents are to be uploaded as per the eligibility clause and reservations claimed by the candidates.

  • All the documents should be uploaded in PDF format only with size not exceeding 1MB.

  • Each of the required documents should be scanned separately in PDF format only.The file name must be appropriate to easily identify the suitable document during upload.

  • Each of the uploaded documents must be “Previewed & Confirmed” separately before proceeding for final submission.

  • After uploading all the necessary documents select the declaration button with OTP and download acknowledgement slip.

As per the guidelines by authorities, candidates who have not received their original marksheet from the concerned boards yet have to obtain the signature of the Principal of the institution where they have passed 2nd PU /12th Standard examination on the provisional marks card. Internet copy of downloaded marks will not be accepted by the authorities.
