KCET 2021 result likely on September 20: Check tie-breaking criteria

: KEA will be releasing the KCET 2021 result online tentatively on September 20. The KCET result 2021 will be published online on the official website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Candidates who appeared in the exam need to keep their registration number handy to check the result of KCET 2021.

Karnataka CET result 2021
will include the subject-wise marks, total marks, and rank secured by the candidates in the examination. KEA will also release the KCET 2021 toppers lost along with the declaration of result. Qualified candidates will be eligible to participate in KCET 2021 counselling and seat allotment.

KCET Result 2021- Tie-breaking rule
For Engineering and Technology, when the merit of two or more candidates are the same, the inter-se merit will be determined with reference to the marks secured in the KCET 2021.

If a tie persists, then the inter-se merit will be determined on the basis of the marks obtained in maths.

If still, the tie continues, then inter-se merit will be determined on the basis of the marks secure in physics
-
If again the tie persists, the inter-se merit shall be determined on the basis of the marks obtained in chemistry.
-
If still the tie continues, -the inter-se merit will be determined on the basis of the age of the candidate, wherein the elder candidate will be considered before the younger.
