NEW DELHI: Karnataka Examinations Authority is conducting the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2022 (KCET 2022) for admission in engineering, pharmacy, agriculture and other technical courses from today. The KEA has asked candidates to adhere to the new KCET 2022 dress code while appearing for the KCET exam 2022.

The KCET 2022 result is expected to be out by July 17, as per the Times of India report. As per the guidelines, students should not wear full-sleeve shirts, clothes covering the head and ears, watches, jewellery, modern electronic equipment and pencils inside the exam centre.
The KCET 2022 dress code aims to bring more transparency in the common entrance test, it said.
The KCET 2022 physics and chemistry exams will be held tomorrow at the KCET exam centres. The KCET 2022 Kannada language test will be conducted on June 18.

KCET 2022 exam day guidelines
Candidates are also advised to follow the KCET exam day guidelines issued by the Karnataka Examinations Authority.
- Aspirants should not carry any electronic equipment like mobile phones, bluetooth, marker, paper, calculator, wireless sets to the examination hall.
- It is mandatory for students to carry KCET hall ticket 2022 along with a valid ID proof to the exam centre.
- Candidates are also required to wear face masks and follow Covid-19 protocols during the examination.
- Candidates should reach the examination centre at least two hours before the first bell and take their respective seats immediately after the first bell.
- Only blue or black ink ball point pens are allowed for the examination.
- Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam centres before the completion of KCET 2022 exam.
- Candidates are advised to preserve KCET admit card 2022 carefully during the entire examination time and produce it whenever required.
