NEW DELHI: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has postponed the schedule for submission of special category certificates. The special category in the KCET 2022 exam includes Defence/NCC/Sports/CAPF/CRPF/CISF/BSF/Ex-Defence/Ex-CAPF/Anglo-Indian/Scouts and Guides.
As per the official notification, further dates and venues will be announced at kea.kar.nic.in after the KCET exam 2022. Earlier, the submission of special category certificates was scheduled from June 2 to 8. Moreover, the authorities are yet to release the KCET hall ticket 2022 date on the KEA website.

Here is a set of instructions that the candidates need to follow:
It is important for the candidates to claim the special category reservation in the CET 2022 online application form. Those who have not claimed, will not be eligible to submit the special category certificates.
Candidates who claim the benefits under various special categories must carry two sets of photocopies along with the application form as per the schedule.
Those candidates who claim eligibility under NCC and sports must bring a study certificate issued by the qualifying board/institution in the State of Karnataka.
In accordance with CET-2006 rules, the special category certificates will get forwarded for verification. After verification, a list of eligible and non-eligible candidates will be prepared and will be made available on the KEA website.
