NEW DELHI: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will conduct the KCET 2024 physics and chemistry papers today in the morning shift from 10.30 am to 11.50 am and afternoon shift from 2.30 pm to 3.50 pm, respectively. Students will have to attempt 60 questions of one mark each.

Candidates appearing for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) physics and chemistry papers will have to carry their admit card, along with a valid government photo ID proof such as Aadhar card, voter’s card, driver’s licence, passport, or PAN card, for entering the exam centre. Candidates download the KCET admit card using their registration number and date of birth on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.

Candidates will have to reach the exam hall at least 25 minutes before the start of the KCET 2024 exam.

Exam day guidelines

Students appearing the exam should follow these guidelines at the exam centre:

  • Do not carry any restricted item at the KCET 2024 exam centre
  • Follow all the exam day instructions as mentioned in the KCET hall ticket
  • Do not leave the exam hall before the conclusion of the exam.

KEA will provide 10 additional minutes to fill in the details such as name, CET number, version code and serial number of the question booklet on the OMR answer sheets in the boxes provided. The students will then be given 70 minutes to attempt the questions.

KCET 2024 Bell Timings for shift 2

Candidates can check the KCET bell timings 2024 here:

  • First bell: 10 minutes before start of exam to inform candidates to enter and occupy their seats
  • Second bell: It will be rung at 9.30 am and 2.30 pm for morning and afternoon shift, respectively, for distribution of KCET question paper
  • Third bell: 10 minutes after commencement of exam to open the question booklet and to start answering on the OMR answer sheet
  • Fourth bell: To inform candidates that 30 minutes of the exam is completed
  • Fifth bell: To remind candidates only 20 minutes remain for the KCET exam
  • Sixth bell: 5 minutes before conclusion of the exam
  • Seventh bell: Conclusion of the exam.
