KCET 2026: KEA warns against fake admit card links circulating online

A day after releasing the Karnataka Common Entrance Test, KCET 2026 hall tickets, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has warned candidates against fake admit card links being circulated on social media. In a post on its official ‘X’ handle, KEA highlighted that some miscreants have created fraudulent links claiming that hall tickets can be downloaded through them and are collecting students’ personal information. Candidates have been advised to remain cautious and avoid such links.

The Karnataka CET exam will be conducted on April 23 and 24, 2026, in two shifts, each lasting 1 hour and 20 minutes. The morning shift will be held from 10:30 am to 11:50 am, while the afternoon shift will take place from 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm.

Part of the post (originally in Kannada) reads: “The following is a fake link. Hall tickets cannot be downloaded through it, so be alert.” Candidates have been urged to visit the official KEA website to download their hall tickets. The advisory was issued by H. Prasanna, IAS, Executive Director of the Karnataka Examinations Authority.

KCET Hall Ticket 2026: How to download

Candidates should keep their registration numbers ready to check and download their hall tickets. Follow the steps below:

• Visit the official website: cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
• Click on the “KCET Admit Card 2026” link on the homepage
• Enter your application number and password to log in
• The hall ticket will be displayed on the screen
• Download and take a printout for future reference

Candidates are advised to verify details such as their name, roll number, exam date, reporting time, and important instructions mentioned on the admit card.
