KCET Counselling 2025: Mock seat allotment results announced; candidates report website crash

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the mock seat allotment results for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 counselling and Undergraduate National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UGNEET) 2025 today, July 25. However, shortly after the announcement, several candidates reported being unable to access the official website due to server issues.

Many candidates took to social media after the site crashed, expressing frustration, remarking that KEA should not declare results unless the website is functional. Candidates who took part in the KCET counselling 2025 can check their KCET mock allotment status through the official website at kea.kar.nic.in, once it is functional.

The KCET mock allotment has been prepared based on candidates’ merit ranks, the roster system, and the choices entered within the deadline. As per the official notice, candidates will be allowed to add, delete, or rearrange their options for the first round of KCET seat allotment between July 26 and July 29, 2025.

KCET Counselling 2025: Final allotment on August 2

The KCET provisional seat allotment results will be declared at 11 am on August 1, and the final seat allotment will be announced on August 2. The window for exercising the choice of allotted seats will remain open from August 4 to August 7.

The notice states that the option entry process for Ayurveda, Unani, Naturopathy, Yoga, and Homoeopathy courses has not been enabled yet. The KCET counselling is conducted to facilitate admissions to medical, dental, engineering, agriculture, veterinary, BSc nursing, BPharm, Pharma-D, BPT, BPO, and allied health science courses.
