NEW DELHI: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is conducting the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET 2024) for candidates seeking admission into engineering, MBBS, dental, AYUSH, nursing, agriculture, veterinary, pharmacy, and other allied courses. Candidates appearing in the exam will have to mandatorily carry the KCET admit card 2024 to be the exam centre to be allowed entry.

The KCET exam 2024 paper will have three sections - mathematics or biology, physics, and chemistry. Each section will consist of 60 questions of a total 180 marks. Students who have applied for engineering will have to appear for PCM exam and those who have registered for MBBS or allied courses will have to take PCB exam.

KEA conducted the biology paper in the morning shift from 10.30 am to 11.50 am and mathematics paper from 2.30 pm to 3.50 pm. Chemistry and physics papers will be held tomorrow.

Through the KCET exam, a total of 198 participating institutes, including government-aided and private institutes will be offering admission. Candidates who qualify the state-level entrance exam will have to participate in the counselling process for final selection. Candidates will be called for KCET counselling in the order of merit.
