KEA begins admissions for PGDM, DNB, and diploma courses; last date to apply October 5
NEET PG 2024 qualified candidates can apply for admission to programmes through cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

NEW DELHI : Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has commenced the admissions for postgraduate medical degree (PGDM) courses, DNB, and diploma courses for in-service doctors of Karnataka today, October 1. Candidates who have qualified for NEET PG 2024 and meet the eligibility criteria for PDGM and diploma courses can apply for the programme. The last date to apply for the admission is October 5, 11 am to 5:30 pm.
Candidates will be allotted seats in government medical colleges, government quota seats in private and minority medical colleges, and private seats in private and minority medical colleges (KPCF, KRLMPCA, AMPCK, and private universities).
As per the official KEA notice, candidates who have secured a minimum percentile or above in PG NEET 2024 are eligible to register for admission to postgraduate medical courses. Candidates from outside Karnataka will have no seat reservation quota applicable to their applications.
Candidates who have obtained the minimum percentile as specified for the general category in NEET-PG 2024 (50th percentile) are eligible to apply and register for KEA admissions. Moreover, the SC, ST, and OBC eligibility criteria will be only applicable to SC, ST, and OBC candidates of Karnataka.
The details regarding the registration fee, document verification schedule, and original documents to be submitted for document verification will be published on the KEA website soon, the KEA notice added.
“Detailed eligibility criteria including PG NEET 2024 brochure are published on the authority's website for the information of candidates. Before registering, it is advised to read the educational qualifications, eligibility criteria prescribed for seats in various categories, candidate's eligibility for such seats, and other criteria,” the official KEA notice added.
However, KEA does not entitle candidates to admission if they are unable to fulfill the eligibility criteria or fail to produce the prescribed certificates for document verification. Candidates who register and complete the document verification process will be eligible for admission to PG medical and dental courses in government and private colleges in Karnataka.
