KCET 2025 application process begins tomorrow; eligibility criteria, exam pattern

NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will commence the application process for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 from tomorrow, January 23, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply for the Karnataka KCET 2025 through the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

The last date to submit the Karnataka KCET 2025 application form is February 21, 2025. The KCET 2025 exam will be held on April 16 to 17, 2025, while the Kannada medium test will be conducted on April 18, 2025.

KEA will also release the complete list of KCET 2025 exam centres on its official website. Candidates can choose their KCET 2025 exam centre while filling out the KCET 2025 application form.

Candidates applying for KCET 2025 must have the required documents such as SSLC, Class 10th marks, and Class 12th and 2nf PUC mark sheet, passport size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression,s and reservation certificates if any.

KCET 2025 exam pattern

Candidates planning to appear for the KCET 2025 exam must become familiar with the exam pattern. The KCET exam will be conducted in pen-paper based in English and Kannada. The total number of questions for the KCET 2025 is 180. As per the KCET 2025 marking scheme candidates will be allotted one mark for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking in the exam.

KCET 2025 eligibility criteria

Given below are the eligibility requirements for the KCET 2025 exam.

• English should be one of the compulsory languages.

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and Biotechnology.

• The minimum qualifying mark for SC, and ST candidates is 40%.
