KEA KSET 2024 Result: Merit list criteria

The KEA has prepared the KSET 2024 merit list based on the marks obtained by the candidates, according to the UGC formula and the state reservation policy. Candidates can check the step-wise process followed to prepare the KSET 2024 merit list below.

Step 1: The number of candidates who will qualify for eligibility for the Assistant Professorship shall be equal to 6% of the total candidates who appeared for both Paper I and Paper II of the KSET.

Step 2: The total number of qualifying slots calculated in Step 1 will be divided, and merit lists will be prepared based on subject and category. This will be done using the combined aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in both papers.

Step 3: To qualify for eligibility as an Assistant Professor, a candidate must have participated in both papers and secured at least 40% (120 out of 300 marks) in aggregate for General (Unreserved) category candidates. For candidates belonging to reserved categories, the minimum aggregate required is 35% (105 out of 300 marks).
