KEAM 2018 Result announced; Rank List to be available on June 20

NEW DELHI, MAY 22: Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) Kerala has declared the result of KEAM 2018. All of the candidates who attempted the examination will now be able to access the result in online mode. While the secured scores in the examination are made available for the candidates through the result, the rank list will be released on June 20, 2018. KEAM, which is the state level engineering entrance examination of Kerala, was conducted successfully on April 23 (Paper I) and April 24 (Paper II). Based on the ranks, performance in the examination and other factors, allotment will be done during the counselling process.

Out of the 90233 students who appeared for both the engineering papers of KEAM, 58268 students have qualified the examination.

How to download KEAM Result 2018?

One of the common questions often asked by the candidates is “How to download the result?”. The confused candidates can find the answer to their questions through the simple steps listed below:

Step 1 – The link to the result is now available on the official KEAM website.

Step 2 – The User ID and password has to be submitted by the candidates.

Step 3 – KEAM result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4 – The candidates will have to download and print it out for future reference.

So what details are available through the published result? The following list of information has been released in the result by the CEE authorities:

• Name of the candidate

• KEAM 2018 roll number/application number

• Category of the candidates

• Marks secured in the examination

• Qualifying marks of KEAM

The minimum qualifying mark for inclusion in the rank list is 10 marks in each paper – Paper I and Paper II. However, there is no minimum qualifying mark criteria for SC/ST category candidates.

When will the rank list be published?

Those candidates who qualify KEAM examination will be required to submit their 12^th standard qualifying exam marks (Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology). CEE Kerala will be releasing KEAM rank list on June 20, 2018. It will be prepared by calculating KEAM scores and the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12^th standard examination by the ratio of 50:50. Ranks secured by the candidates will be displayed in the rank list. Based on the rank list, the candidates will be called in for counselling and allotment process.
