NEW DELHI: The Commission for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has announced the Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical (KEAM) 2024 spot admission date for BTech programmes. The centralized KEAM 2024 spot admission for BTech courses in 9 government engineering colleges and 4 aided engineering colleges across the state will be held on September 11 at Government Engineering College, Thrissur.

As per the KEAM 2024 official notice, students interested in securing a spot can register on the same day between 4:00 am and 12:00 pm. The KEAM 2024 spot allotment process will commence at 1:00 pm.

As per the official notice, students from all institutions, except government, aided, cost-sharing engineering colleges, Co-operative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE), Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD), Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Science and Technology (LBS), Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering (SCT), and Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), are required to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to be eligible for the KEAM 2024 spot admission process.

KEAM 2024 BTech Spot Admission: Fee details

All students who secure a spot during this admission round, whether they are already admitted or applying for the first time, are required to pay the admission fees immediately upon confirmation. The fee structure is as follows: General category students are required to pay Rs. 9,650, which includes a caution deposit of Rs 1,000. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) are required to pay Rs 1,000.

KEAM Spot Admission 2024: Documents required

Students who have already been admitted through the KEAM rank list are only required to present their admission slip for the spot admission process. However, those applying for admission for the first time are required to submit the following documents:

  • Allotment memo issued by CEE

  • Class 12 marksheet

  • Data sheet issued by CEE

  • Class 10 marksheet and certificate

  • Certificate to prove date of birth in original (SSLC, birth certificate, valid Indian passport)

  • Proof of nativity in original (SSLC, birth certificate, valid Indian passport, or any document as per KEAM prospectus 2024)

  • Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate (if admitted category is SEBC or OBC)

  • EWS certificate (if admitted category is EWS)

  • Caste or community certificate (if admitted category is SC, ST, or JEWS)

  • Transfer certificate (Students without TC will not be permitted to join)

  • Conduct certificate

  • Physical fitness certificate in the relevant format given in Annexure XVI(b) of the prospectus 2024

  • Migration certificate (for boards other than HSC or VHSC)

  • Pass certificate of the qualifying examination (if issued)

  • Any other certificate of eligibility (if allotment is under any other quota like CC, PT, XS, SD, DK, RP, JW, SGETC)

  • Receipt of fee paid to CEE

  • Printout of registration form (registration link is available on the website), PTA fund receipt, Bus fund receipt, and CETAA receipt

One set of self-attested copies of the following

  • Allotment Memo issued by CEE

  • Data sheet of KEAM 2024

  • NATA score card (Architecture candidates only

  • SSLC certificate

  • Certificate to prove date of birth (SSLC, birth certificate, passport)

  • mark list of the qualifying examination (Higher Secondary or equivalent)

  • Pass certificate of the qualifying examination (if issued)

  • EWS, community, NCRL certificate (if applicable)
