The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has commenced the phase 2 option confirmation for Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) 2026 engineering admissions and phase 1 option registration for Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) courses. Candidates can complete the process online through the official website, cee.kerala.gov.in, till July 16, 2026, 11:59 pm.

According to the official notification, the online KEAM 2026 web option confirmation is mandatory for all engineering candidates, including those who secured a seat in the first allotment and those who did not receive any KEAM seat allotment but wish to be considered in the second phase.

KEAM 2026 counselling schedule

As per the official schedule, the provisional allotment for engineering phase 2 and the phase 1 KEAM provisional allotment 2026 for architecture will be published on July 17, 2026. The KEAM final seat allotment 2026 will be announced on July 19, 2026. Candidates allotted seats will have to report physically to their respective colleges and complete fee payment between July 20 and 24, 2026, by 4 pm.

Candidates are required to log in on the CEE official website and click the 'confirm' button to retain their existing options for the next round.

After confirming their options, candidates can rearrange their preferences, delete unwanted options, and register fresh options for newly added colleges, courses, or quotas introduced in this phase. The facility will remain available until the deadline.

The CEE clarified that candidates who fail to complete online option confirmation will not be considered for the KEAM second phase of engineering allotment, except for newly introduced colleges, courses, or quotas for which fresh options are registered. However, candidates who have already paid the token fee for their KEAM phase 1 allotment will retain their existing seat if no new allotment is made.

The notification also states that candidates allotted a new engineering seat in the second phase will automatically lose their first-phase allotment and will have to join the newly allotted college.

KEAM BArch option registration begins

CEE Kerala has also activated the KEAM phase 1 option registration for candidates included in the rank list. Eligible candidates can register their preferences for government, aided autonomous, and self-financing architecture colleges participating in the KEAM admission 2026 process. The option registration fee notified earlier for KEAM BArch admissions 2026 will apply.
