The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) will conduct the Kerala Plus 2 Economics paper 2026 tomorrow, March 19. The Kerala Class 12 Economics paper will be held from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm.

The Kerala 12th Economics paper will take place for a duration of 2 hours and 45 minutes. Students will be given 15 minutes of cool-off time to read the Economics question paper.
The Kerala Plus 2 Economics theory paper will have a total of 80 marks, while 20 marks will be given to students on the basis of internal or project work.

The Class 12 Economics theory paper will include one-mark and two-mark questions worth 8 marks each. Three-mark questions will carry 12 marks, while four-mark questions will account for 16 marks.
There will also be five-mark questions totalling 20 marks and eight-mark long-answer questions worth 16 marks.
The Kerala Plus 2 Economics paper will be divided into part A and B, where the former will have queries on Macroeconomics, the latter will be based on Microeconomics.
As per the passing criteria, the Kerala board uses a grading system to mark the passing status. Students will have to obtain a minimum of 30% marks in theory or D+ grade to be declared pass the 12th Economics paper.
The authority has advised students to reach 30 minutes early for the examination. No electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, smart watches are allowed inside the examination hall.
